A ‘life study’ in dilute oil paint. A body without the human spirit is just an empty solid object. This work depicts a spirit dancing on the surface of the body. And a mind which is at once, present and far away, from its place. The wash of tones reflect transience of life, thoughts, and body. Our minds move quickly, and our bodies are only animate for a short time. Spirit carries us along.
